Brand and Visual Voice: Typography

The NIH Enterprise Architecture website uses Avenir and Verdana exclusively. The Avenir family is used primary for permanent site components, such as Main Navigation and Sidebar titles. The site will use Verdana for all system text, which will be defined through the Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). Using consistent typography enables users to access information quickly and helps define the brand personality.
